Isabel Granada is dead, according to a text message

Updated post.

A text message has been circulating around spreading the info that singer-actress Isabel Granada passed away after battling against ovarian cancer. The SMS message reads, "DEAR FRIENDS, LET ISABEL GRANADA BE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. LET US BE HAPPY THAT SHE IS WITH THE LORD NOW, IN PEACE. WITH NO PAIN CAUSED BY OVARIAN CANCER."

When Pep.ph contacted Isabel's cellphone number, they were able to receive a response from the actress herself denying the hoax text message and saying she's "good".

"Whatever txt po nareceive nyo...i just [want] to let u knw Im good po..thank u po sa concern..i couldnt answer calls/txt, sensya napo.Smileim ok po", according to a text message from Isabel.

Vi Manila Bulletin Isabel said it was "cruel" and "irresponsible."

"I really don't know sino po nagkalat but I'm sure the person must have galit sa akin or ingget," the actress added.

Isabel Granada has underwent a couple of surgeries to remove a cyst from her ovary before but she refuted that she has cancer.

Isabel Granada, 35, started her career in Philippine showbiz through "That's Entertainment". She was able to record an album and star in several TV shows after that.

Isabel Granada dies of Ovarian Cancer?

A text message is said to have been circulating which says that singer-actress Isabel Granada has died of ovarian cancer. The exact SMS reads: "DEAR FRIENDS, LET ISABEL GRANADA BE IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. LET US BE HAPPY THAT SHE IS WITH THE LORD NOW, IN PEACE. WITH NO PAIN CAUSED BY OVARIAN CANCER."

When Pep.ph contacted Isabel's cellphone number, they were able to receive a response from the actress herself denying the hoax text message and saying she's "good".

"Honestly wala ako idea, sobra morbid po ang mensahe...And i jst hope n pray tigilan ako ng taong nagkakalat ng death ko. God knows wen. wag sya magkalat nega news," the actress added.
