Pinoys, Kapuso by Day, Kapamilya by Night | Kantar Media TV Ratings (February 1-3, 2011)

Basing on the ratings of Philippine TV shows in the recently released Kantar Media-TNS National Household Ratings for February 1-3, 2011, a very evident trend will make us conclude that Filipinos are Kapuso by Day and Kapamilya by Night. Since Kantar Media ranks daytime and primetime shows separately, the interesting trend is not at all hard to notice.

"Mara Clara" reigns Philippine TV Primetime

As the remake of the 90's TV hit Mara Clara reaches its climax on its Book 1, a good number of fans continue to religiously watch the teleserye. This is supported by the recent AGB Nielsen survey which shows that on January 31 to February 1, 2011, Mara Clara has been the most viewed Philippine primetime show in Mega Manila. It got a tv rating of 14.2% on January 31st while 14.8% on February 1.
