The creators of the phenomenal TV hit "May Bukas Pa" are now back with a new primetime offering which will be aired on the Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN.


100 Days to Heaven, the title of the new soap, promises to captivate the hearts of the Filipino viewers with its story about chances and forgiveness. It has a star-studded cast headed by the veteran actress Connie Reyes and talented child actress Xyriel Manabat.

100 Days to Heaven cast also includes Jodi Sta. Maria, Dominic Ochoa, Rafael Rosell, Valerie Concepcion, Smokey Manaloto, Neil Coleta and Louis Abuel. The following celebrities are also taking a special participation in the new series: Shaina Magdayao, Pokwang, Vice Ganda, Sam Milby, Empress, Jason Abalos, Xian Lim, Mark Gil, Felix Roco, Noel Trinidad and Ms. Gloria Romero

Directed by Malu Sevilla, 100 Days to Heaven is set to air weeknights on ABS-CBN primetime soon.

Joey Benin's son, Jaco launches an album | Jaco Benin 'Ako Naman' sampler video

The son of Side A's Joey Benin, Jaco has recently debuted in the music scene with the launch of his first album, "Ako Naman" under PolyEast Records.

The bassist of the popular 90's band Side A, Joey composed hit songs for the band which include “I Believe in Dreams,” “By Your Side” and “Forevermore.”

Meanwhile, being a part of "Asap Rocks" A-pop, Jaco Benin is a familiar face to Kapamilya viewers.

"Si Dad, kilala na matalinong musikero so I just can't put out music na di pinagisipan. He doesn't pressure me to be like him at all but he guides me musically, tipong 'O, pag gagawa ka ng remake you should treat it like an original para you don't end up just copying,"' Jaco told the Manila Bulletin.

His six-track album is a combination of acoustic, upbeat tunes and laid back songs of which three are covers of hits, “Torete” (by Moonstar 88), “Sa Puso Ko” (True Faith) and “Prinsesa” (Teeth).

Melissa Ricks, thankful for landing a lead role in 'Nasaan Ka Elisa?' | 'Nasaan Ka Elisa' Cast'

Topbilling her first solo drama series in "Nasaan ka Elisa", Kapamilya actress Melissa Ricks expressed her gratitude to her network for giving her a big break.

"Sobrang thankful ako kasi in many years I've never been asked to do a lead role. With this new show sobrang overwhelming yung feeling and sobrang saya ako kasi hindi ko inexpect talaga."

Melisa Ricks also revealed that her role in the Chilean drama series remake is very different from the past roles she has portrayed.

Elisa, (Melissa Ricks) a beautiful and rich teenager and the eldest daughter of Mariano (Albert Martinez) and Dana Altamira (Agot Isidro). One night, after Mariano's party, Elisa insisted her father to go out with her younger sister, Cristine (Isabella De Leon) and her cousins, Santi (Franco Daza) and Eduardo (Aldred Gatchalian). They go to a local club where there is a party being held there. The three, except Elisa soon get drunk. When Dana and Vivian (Mickey Ferriols) come to fetch them, they see that they are drunk and find out that Elisa is now missing. The investigators, Cristobal (Joem Bascon) and Giselle (Desiree Del Valle) investigate and they find a list of names of people who might have kidnapped Elisa, including her family members (aunts, uncles, cousins), her friends and classmates and went to the places where Elisa used to go to. Will they find where Elisa is? Who is the one who kidnapped Elisa? Will the mystery behind the disappearance of Elisa be revealed?

"Nasaan Ka Elisa" started airing on ABS-CBN on March 21.

The Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo reportedly has a new admirer and suitor in the person of Miguel Villafuerte.

Miguel Villafuerte said to have wanted to go to the premier of Sarah's new movie, "Catch Me I'm In Love" but he missed it since he had to fly back to New York that night. He sent a bouquet of flowers instead.

Miguel is the eldest son of Camarines Sur Governor Luis Raymond 'Lray' Villafuerte. He is a graduating Political Science student in a university in New York City.

According to a Manila Bulletin report, the Villafuertes like Sarah as they have invited the singer-actress several times for shows and tourism endorsements in the province.

Miguel's mom, Lara, also likes Sarah’s wholesome, down-to-earth and decent image and she believes that she is the kind of girl her sons should go for. The mom said to have influenced Miguel who, according to the report, has had a crush on Sarah since last year.

Marie Digby, Sam Milby 'kilig' moments in Japan revisited (Photos and Videos)

During the "One Kapamilya Go" concert in Japan last year, hunk actor Sam Milby and international singer Marie Digby had a special moment together when they played a 'paper dance' game where Sam had to carry Marie. They won the game and the audience asked for a kiss. Both did give each other a kiss making the crowd 'kilig'. :D

Cristine Reyes receives an apology, ends rift with Sarah Geronimo

Kapamilya stars Christine Reyes and Sarah Geronimo finally ended the tension between them. In a "The Buzz" interview, yesterday, Sarah shared how it all happened.


According to Sarah, when her make-up artist forgot her eyeliner, she was able to find time to ran into Christine to say sorry and explain her side.

“Niyakap ko na lang siya… Sabi ko, ‘Cristine, wala 'kong intensiyon…’ Wala po talaga akong intensiyon [na manakit],” Sarah told "The Buzz".

“At ‘yung biro ko sa stage na ‘yon during rehearsal, sine-set ko lang ‘yung mood na, ‘Okay na tayo, Ray, ha.’ At saka ‘yung joke ko na ‘yon, for John [Prats] din ‘yun at Rayver. Kasi totoo naman ‘yun na ‘yung mga magagaling sumayaw, lapitin talaga ng mga magaganda at seksing babae. ‘Di ba po si Rachelle [Ann Go] sexy, si Cristine sexy… maganda… So ‘yun lang po, wala akong ibang ibig sabihin don. At ‘yun ang gustong gustong gusto kong ipaliwanag kay Cristine,” Sarah added

Sarah said that Christine was quick to say 'sorry' and was teary-eyed as well.

“Sabi niya, ‘Oo, sorry.’ Nagulat din ako na na-teary-eyed din siya, ‘Sorry din para wala na ring iwasan.’ At nakita niya po si mommy, nag-sorry din po siya kay mommy.”

“And I also told her na, ‘Cristine, naiintindihan kita, in-love ka eh,'” she laughs as the audience cheers. “Sabi ko, ‘Nangyari rin sa akin ‘yan noon!'” She laughs even harder until she realizes something and quickly says, “Ay sorry, mommy! Mommy, I love you…”

Marcelito Po Moy, early favorite in Pilipinas Got Talent 2 (Video)

With more than 500 thousand total views of his audition video which was reposted by a number of users on Youtube as of this writing, 25-year old contestant Marcelito Po Moy is undeniably an early favorite in ABS-CBN's talent search franchise "Pilipinas Got Talent 2".


Marcelito Po Moy who is from Imus, Cavite amazed everyone with his Regine Velasquez-like voice despite the fact that he is a male. He sang Regine's "Narito Ako" which made the crowd crave for more. He was allowed to sing another song, this time "Sana Maulit Muli", to the grant audience's request.

When Ai-ai delas Alas made her comment, she also requested another song. And he sang a duet - "Hanggang Ngayon" by Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez! He was able to perform both the male and female parts well which impressed the judges.

Kris Aquino said, "Na-achieve mo ang something spectacular... namangha kaming lahat"

We will be seeing more of Marcelito since he is off to the next round. :D

'Good Vibes' to air in April on ABS-CBN | 'Good Vibes' Cast and Behind The Scenes Photos

Fans have been anticipating this show since info about it first came out late last year. After several months, sources say that the youth-oriented dance drama series "Good Vibes" will finally premier this April 2011 on ABS-CBN. Excited much? :D

There has been a change on the cast of this show, though. Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Teen former housemate Fretzie Bercede who was originally part of the cast backed out and was replaced by fellow PBB Teen alum Kazel Kinouchi.

DZMM to hold "Takbo Para sa Karunungan" on March 13

On March 13, 2011, ABS-CBN owned radio station DZMM will be holding a funrun called "Takbo Para sa Karunungan" to celebrate its silver anniversary. The event which will take place in Quirino Grandstand in Manila, aims to gather funds for the scholarships of 25 Ondoy victims.


Participants can choose among 3K, 5K, 10K and the special 25k categories. All runners will also have a chance to win cash prizes and trophies.

Video of a "Mara Clara" fan crying over Mara's death goes viral (VIDEO)

"Happyna19" of the popular video sharing site, Youtube, uploaded a video of her sister while the latter is crying over a scene on ABS-CBN's "Mara Clara". With the title, "MARA CLARA REACTION: How mara clara affects my sister :))", the video shows a young Filipina girl crying really hard as tragic events unfolded on the drama series hit.


Uploaded on March 4, 2011, the video already gained more than half a million hits as of this writing. On its first day, the video became the most discussed Youtube comedy clip in Israel where the youtuber comes from.

The video is expected to go even "more viral" since it was also featured on TV Patrol earlier and continuously being "shared" on social networking sites.

Pilipinas Got Talent 2: "Freestylers" of Laguna (Video)

A week ago, ABS-CBN's TV show franchise "Pilipinas Got Talent" started airing its second season. Showing a fresh episode every Saturday and Sunday, there has been 4 episodes so far and I would have to say that they are all packed with surprise performances and unique talents.


During last night's episode, a dance act amazed the judges which I think is the highlight of this episode. Queen of All Media Kris Aquino commented, "Parang any moment may mababalian ng leeg."

The hiphop dance performance was from the all-male group "Freestylers" from Calamba, Laguna. The dance crew composed of 14 boys impressed everyone with their dancing and tumbling skills and a synchronized stunt.

"Mula Sa Puso" Remake Cast revealed! | Lauren Young, Jm de Guzman, Enrique Gil take lead roles

After the overwhelming success of its remake on Mara Clara, ABS-CBN will again bring back to our TV screens another well-loved teleserye hit in the past. The 1997-1999 drama series, Mula sa Puso which brought Claudine Barreto, Rico Yan and Diether Ocampo to superstardom, is now being taped and will be aired on the Kapamilya network soon.

So far the biggest break of her career, young actress Lauren Young will be the new Claudine in this remake and will be playing the role of Via. It will also be a wish-come-true for newcomers JM de Guzman and Enrique Gil because they have been chosen to portray the roles of Gabriel (originally played by Rico Yan) and Michael (Diether Ocampo's role), respectively.

Also part of the cast are veteran actor Gabby Concepcion as Via's father Don Fernando, Eula Valdez as Selina and Dawn Zulueta as Via's Mom, Magdalena.

Mula sa Puso 2011 will be directed by Wenn Deramas who also directed the original series.

Via (Claudine Barretto), the only daughter of Don Fernando (Juan Rodrigo), is raised as his darling princess. On her eighteenth birthday she finds out that her father has promised her (hand in marriage) to her childhood friend Michael (Diether Ocampo), and before the birthday party is over, she gets kidnapped. She is rescued by a good samaritan named Gabriel (Rico Yan), whom she falls in love with. Michael at the latter part of the story became romantically involved with Via's best friend, Trina (Rica Peralejo). As the story unfolds, Via ends up having to decide between the two men in her life, while learning more about her mother Magda (Jaclyn Jose) and fighting off her evil aunt Selina, (Princess Punzalan), who is the sister of Don Fernando who wants to make all of them miserable before Selina's defeat.

In the story, Selina was one of the most influential character, due to her greediness in power and wealth of Don Fernando ( Juan Rodrigo), her brother. She used people in order to manipulate them when a bombing in the departure of Via and her family to start a new life begins, Via lives a new identity but comes back to her family, and they all face Selina one last time in dignity.

ASAP Rocks' 'EDSA 25' Music Video

To commemorate the silver anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution in EDSA which restored the nation's democracy, ABS-CBN's Sunday variety show ASAP Rocks has come up with a music video which features its biggest artists.

The video shows the best singers of the show performing the theme song of the successful revolution, "Handog ng Pilipino sa Mundo" which was written by Jim Paredes of the APO Hiking Society.

The ASAP artists in this 'EDSA 25' video include Gary Valenciano, Vina Morales, Martin Nieverra, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby, Erik Santos, Toni Gonzaga, Christian Bautista, Aiza Seguerra, Juris, Yeng Constantino, and Jovit Baldivino.

Kris Aquino reveals 'seeing someone'

The presidential sister Kris Aquino admitted that she is 'seeing someone' at the moment and not '[several] people' like she previously said.

“Okay, I’m seeing someone na lang, kasi kung people, baka sabihin naman ang daming guys,” Kris told Journal Online.

The Queen of All Media did not disclose who the guy is but the report guessed that it could be Ted Failon.

When asked about Ted Failon whom she previously called her textmate, Kris said,

“Hindi ko alam kung merong ihihigit pa ro’n, tingnan natin. Sinagot ko naman ’yan, eh, sabi ko, technically, binata siya, so, he can date anybody he wants. Ako pa ’yung may problema.

She added that she and Failon are in "constant communication" and that he has visited her three times on the set of her upcoming show 'The Price is Right'.

“Constant ang communication namin ni Ted, and ano, three times na siyang tumingin sa set ko [for upcoming show ‘The Price is Right']. In fairness naman sa kanya, supportive naman siya,” said she, admitting she’s content they’re in the “getting to know you stage” for now.

Kris worked during her 40th birthday on Valentine's Day although she held a "praying party" last Friday. She said her estranged husband James Yap was not invited. "Alam niyang may iba nang invited."

"Happy Yipee Yehey!" Hosts include Sam Milby, John Prats, Matteo Guidicelli

The fans of Sam Milby previously voiced out their disappointment in various online forums when it was announced on TV Patrol that the line-up of hosts in the new noontime show on ABS-CBN "Happy Yipee Yehey!" did not include the Kapamilya hunk. I read on one saying "I don't want to subscribe on TFC anymore because Sam Milby is not on Happy Yipee Yehey!" or something like that.


I know the fans' disgust since they were excited when it was rumored that Sam Milby was taken for the show. But the people behind the new noontime show must have heard the fans and so they granted their wish.

Yes, Sam Milby will be part of "Happy Yipee Yehey!". Not only that young actors John Prats and Matteo Guidicelli are also joining the show as hosts.

However, Sam Milby and Matteo Guidicelli will not be seen daily on the show. They are only guest show hosts. Bummer!

"Happy Yipee Yehey!" will start airing on February 12 on ABS-CBN.
